Jonathan, an 8 months old baby
born deaf, receives a cochlear implant. The following video shows us the moment
when the cochlear implant is activated and he hears his mother’s voice. It’s
breath-taking.
Even though I have only seen this
video a couple of days ago, it was uploaded on youtube in 2008 by beancounterbb, who, in total, uploaded
two videos of the baby.
Do you wonder how Jonathan
is today? Today Health published, on 6th January 2013, an article done by Diane Mapes about how he and his family are today – the little boy has now five years old, it’s
in kindergarten and, according to his parents, he’s "doing great”. The article
